Short Description of Activity
Rob Mason, of The Wilderness Society, joined Sally Sharp, myself and Pam Duquette to discuss the potential impacts of the Utah lawsuit seeking to transfer ownership of Federal public lands to the States. Although the Supreme Court declined to hear the case just before we met, the issue may still be raised in lower courts.
Reflection/Evaluation
In Teton Valley we are nearly surrounded by public lands, so this is an issue of huge importance to the WHALES. I will continue to follow the issue and update the WHALES.
