Reflection/Evaluation
While I supported Wyden’s idea of doing the townhall, it seemed like a lot of talking and not giving me the answers I was hoping to hear. Lots of telling us what the issues/problems are but no definitive direction of what the Dems are going to do, plans or next steps. Most of the conversations/questions addressed folks concerns about health care, medi-caid, medi-care, loss of firefighters and firings in agencies, but again not much regarding conservation issues. Question was brought up about concerns regarding clear-cutting our forests and Wyden’s response was that he will talk to Republicans but not sure what that means. Myself and others sent in questions regarding conservation,NEPA, etc. but Wyden doesn’t want much to do with Bitterbrush Chapter as we held his toes to the fire regarding the Monument for the Owyhee Canyon
