Short Description of Activity
At least 6 of our members actively participated in a community rally to show support for our public lands and public lands employees, in light of recent events. We made signs to show our support. Folks gathered in front of the Grant County Conference Center, and after a while we walked over to the nearby Gila Natl. Forest Supervisor’s office building.
Reflection/Evaluation
There was a strong turnout with at least 170 people participating. We felt that it successfully showed our support of public lands and also the staff charged with their care.
