Short Description of Activity
Public meeting with Sisters Forest Service regarding NWForest Plan Amendment. It had been scheduled the previous month but canceled due to snow storm.
Reflection/Evaluation
Had a video presentation but there wasn’t much of an opportunity to ask questions. It was kind of a canned performance. The FS pretty much shared what they are looking at, what the parameters are for scoping and how to send in comments. The way they explained how to send in comments I think would of been hard for the general public to submit due to the specific’s they want from folks. Did talk with a few staff, but again, it was pretty much cut and dry of here is the info and it’s up to you public to send us your input. FS did acknowledge that things are up in the air as far as administration and if this will be dead in the water or decisions will be out of their hands.
